Length of the route : 17.7 km Town : Fresnes-au-Mont Path marked out by La Grolle Sammielloise: lagrollesammielloise55@laposte.net This beautiful hike will take you on an 18 km course, almost entirely shaded. You will have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views, you will come across a cross (the Camonin Cross) erected in memory of the young Joseph run over by a bundle car in 1765 .... Some historical curiosities while crossing the village of Rupt (13th century church, old washhouse) are worth a stop. Later, a slight descent will lead you to a pond that belonged to monks in the 17th century. It is aptly called the Étang des Moines. This place is suitable for a picnic stop while respecting its environment. The walk is coming to an end ... Have a good hike. |
