A visit to the Arefe Conservatory Orchard is an opportunity to learn or recall the history of the mirabelle plum in Lorraine and to discover the orchard over the seasons.
Visits by reservation for groups of 10 people minimum (5€/person). Possibility to adapt our visits to the conservatory orchard and the experimental orchard of Arefe on request. Duration of the variable visits (1 to 3 hours, according to your wishes).
During the peak harvest period, an open house (in July or August depending on maturity) allows you to discover the ripe fruit.
The conservatory orchard also offers:
- technical training on several themes of orchard management in an environmentally friendly way (planting an orchard, pruning trees, grafting, natural care).
- the sale of fruit from our important collection of plums and mirabelles.
- a sale of trees of local and old varieties from our variety collection in late autumn.
